Before opening the Endless Delights Café, Andriea Watson’s love of cooking was instilled by her many happy memories spent in her granny’s kitchen. Because of that, she had always gravitated to cooking and baking. Andriea originally started with catering but in 1999, moved to her current location and EndlessDelights Café was born! Andriea said that a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into her business but she also had support from the community. What has been gratifying to her is the camaraderie that happens between diners.“Someone can come in as a single diner and find a lunch companion, someone they may have gone to school with or haven’t seen in a while and stay and visit.”An example she shared was of former elementary school Principal Truss Shell. He knew every child that went to the local school and, when dining in the café, those grown‘ kids’ would stop to say a few words to him. Andrea has been a United Bank customer almost from the start of her business. She said the relationship has been fantastic with good service and the bank staff being very on top of things. While running a café is hard work it is rewarding. Her motto is ‘no matter what, I’m doing the best I can.’Endless Delights hours are Monday through Saturday 7 am to 8 pm. They offer an array of hamburgers, chicken tenders, salads, and ice cream.
